About
Bud LaCombe is a highly accomplished Executive with over 18 years experience. Having a combination of automotive and mortgage retail sales, lending and management in his background, he brings the diverse expertise needed to gain greater performance results and create higher standards.
Bud is the Managing Partner for C2 Partners, LLC. He has been consulting for Mortgage Firms, Automotive Retailers, Finance Companies and Emerging Technology Companies. Specifically, Bud brings about effective coordination of action in order to deal with all aspects of sales (Customer Acquisition/ Fulfillment), recruiting and hiring (HR), company morale (Motivation). Prior to starting his own consulting firm, Bud gained significant experience by doing the very work for which he consults today. His very successful real world experience is what makes him such an effective consultant.
Bud served as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Mortgage Corp. a wholly owned subsidiary of Citizens State Bank of Texas. Additionally, he was the Director of Mortgage Banking Operation for Security Banc Shares, a Bank Holding Company in Texas. Prior to these positions, Bud was the President / Chief Operation Officer for Sofin Mortgage and Tigro Title Agency of Scottsdale Arizona. Bud and his team of 6 direct reports were responsible for growing their non-conforming production from Start-Up, to $250M annually. He was responsible for the day to day operations of a 5 branch network operating in 2 states.
While serving a two year non-compete he was the Chief Operation Officer for Stoneage.com/ Car.com; an online auto buying service which was sold to Autobytel (ABTL) for $48M. As the Chief Operating Officer, Bud was responsible for the day to day operations of customer acquisition and fulfillment. Bud had a 2 year non-compete from retiring his role as Senior Vice President in charge of Sub-prime Lending for Rock Financial (QuickenLoans). He was responsible for 21 branches in 7 states, which produced $500M in annual fundings. Bud traveled extensively from branch to branch executing on the Rock Financial business plan. He led a team of 5 direct reports who oversaw all aspects of sales and operations.
Prior to Rock Financial, Bud was the GSM (General Sales Manager) of Great Lakes Toyota of Holland, MI. As the General Sales Manager, Bud was instrumental in adding additional franchises and ultimately positioning Great Lakes Auto Mall for sale. Bud is extraordinarily capable of increasing sales production while decreasing expenses.
Bud enjoys taking care of his family (Wife Cindy, son Connor, daughter Kylee and Bailey (family dog). Lastly, Bud is a competitive Ironman Triathlete, recently racing Ironman Florida in November, 2009. His goal is to qualify for the Hawaiian Ironman.
